Dutch is an adorable 3-year old male Beagle mix who was surrendered by his owner to the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden on December 11, 2025.
This little sweetheart has a tan-and-white coat, a rather long body, short bowed front legs, a short tail, and a beautiful face with expressive brown eyes, a slender muzzle, and large floppy ears.
Though he is a petite boy who weighed just 16 lbs when he entered our shelter, Dutch appears to have some Basset Hound ancestors in his family tree based upon his physical appearance.
Dutch has a happy, outgoing personality and loves attention. He thoroughly enjoyed his first photo session on December 19th 2025 when HSOV Shelter Manager Tracy Lynn Moore spent time with him in the lobby of our shelter.
Dutch had been on a safekeeping status when he entered our shelter since he was underweight, and our compassionate HSOV staff/kennel techs have taken great care of him with extra gourmet food and extra TLC.
Dutch was neutered on January 19, 2026 and was also given rabies vaccine.
Dutch is available as of February 7, 2026 as "Foster-to-Adopt" only. If you would like to give Dutch a loving home, please complete/submit an HSOV Adoption/Foster application for management approval.
