My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nico came back to ARC because his guardian could no longer care for him. Being the easy-going kitty he is, he adjusted immediately to life back at ARC and is totally enjoying the company of the other kitties in his house, the staff, and volunteers.

As you can see, Nico is a beautiful long-haired soft orange kitty with expressive eyes that reflect his gentle personality. When he is not socializing with volunteers or kitties, he likes to relax on the screened area when he can enjoy the Florida breeze and watch what is going on outside his house.

If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate companion, then Nico is the one for you! His adaptable nature and friendly disposition make him a perfect fit for almost any loving home.

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this gentle-natured kitty? Do not miss this chance to welcome a truly special companion into your life!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
