My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: This sweet girl may start off shy, but give her a little time and you'll discover a devoted lap companion who adores head scratches. She's low maintenance, independent, and appreciates a calm environment where she can settle in at her own pace. String toys bring out her playful side, and she's great at communicating her boundaries with gentle reminders.
If you're looking for a thoughtful, loyal companion who bonds deeply and rewards patience with real affection, she might be your perfect match!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I'll need daily interaction with you as I get used to my new life.

Beauty tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.

A volunteer writes: A cat as cherished and as loved as Beauty was brought to us out of an abundance of both of those things. Housing insecurity has brought Beauty to us to help her find a forever home. At 11 years old, Beauty knows that a bit of a road lies ahead, and while she's never exactly been a fan of meeting new people, she clearly shares her heart when she's ready to. We've heard Beauty can be affectionate, but when I went to visit she didn't feel much like coming out to greet me. That's ok. We know that things aren't quite as bright as they could or should be, but we know they'll look up when you come in.
