My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Lady - Gentle, Quiet, and Full of Love 🐾
Lady is the sweetest, calmest little soul you'll ever meet. She's a quiet, well-mannered girl who enjoys peaceful surroundings and cozy routines. She loves her food (and is a little chonky in the cutest way), reliably uses her litter box, and is very easy to care for.
She may take a few days to warm up in a new space, but once she feels safe, she'll come to you for gentle pets and companionship. Lady is so quiet you'll barely ever hear her meow, and her calm presence makes her a wonderful, comforting companion.
She would do best in a quiet, relaxed home where she can settle in at her own pace and be loved for the gentle, affectionate cat she is.
Honestly, she's the nicest cat I've ever met - a true sweetheart looking for a peaceful forever home.

A volunteer writes:
Lady Meowington is a lovely senior girl who knows how to make a grand entrance-even if it takes her a few days to warm up! When she first arrived at the care center, this distinguished dame was a bit reserved. But once she settled in, her true personality emerged: gentle, friendly, and absolutely delightful. She's the kind of four-legged best friend anyone would be lucky to have.
With her engaging, trustworthy face-mostly white and utterly charming-and her pleasantly plump, well-groomed figure, Lady Meowington is a vision of feline elegance. And yes, she has a weakness: "Temptations" treats will have her following you anywhere, even venturing boldly outside her kennel!
But don't let her food enthusiasm fool you-Lady Meow is about so much more than snacks. She adores attention, soaks up sweet words like sunshine, and leans into every pet with pure contentment (check out her video!).
In her previous home, Lady Meowington lived peacefully with one owner and a small dog. She's reported to be friendly with everyone, including children, and plays gently. She was surrendered due to a recent spraying issue, which we haven't observed at the shelter-it's possible a stressor in her former home triggered the behavior.
Lady Meowington is already spayed, has a normal senior blood panel, decent teeth for her age, and aced her behavior evaluation. This regal girl is ready to go home with you today.
