Meet Rollie 💛
1–2 years old • 22 lbs • Corgi mix • Neutered male
Rollie is a deeply affectionate, sensitive little guy who came from a hoarding environment involving more than 20 dogs. He has made incredible strides learning to trust and connect with people and is continuing to grow more confident every day.
Rollie forms very strong bonds with his person and thrives on close connection. He loves following his people from room to room, curling up for snuggles, and being part of daily life. Rollie enjoys toys, walks, car rides, lounging on the couch, and playing with other dogs.
He does great with other dogs and would benefit from having a confident canine companion who can help him feel secure and match his playful energy.
Rollie previously spent time in a foster home where he made excellent progress adjusting to home life. He is currently back in our kennels and continues to do well, but he will benefit greatly from returning to a stable home environment where he can continue building confidence.
Rollie is sensitive and does best in calm, predictable homes with consistent routines. He bonds especially strongly with women and may need extra patience and time to feel comfortable around men and unfamiliar visitors.
When Rollie first entered foster care, he struggled with settling in his crate overnight, but with routine and consistency, he made wonderful progress and even began choosing his crate on his own during the day.
Because of his background, busy adoption events can be overwhelming for Rollie. He is available for adoption by appointment only, allowing him to meet adopters in a quieter, more comfortable setting.
Rollie would thrive in a patient household with adults or teens (13+) who understand sensitive dogs and are willing to build trust slowly. In the right home, he becomes a playful, deeply loyal companion who simply wants to feel safe, loved, and included.

At Rebel Animal Rescue, we believe in keeping adoption as simple and welcoming as possible. Instead of strict, one-size-fits-all requirements, we focus on open conversations with potential adopters. We want to learn about your home, lifestyle, and any challenges you might face, and work together on solutions that set you and your new pet up for success.
The adoption process starts with a short application, which we review to make sure the match could be a good fit. From there, we arrange a meet-and-greet with your entire family—and for dog adoptions, your resident dogs too.
If everyone feels good about the match, we encourage a one-week trial period. This gives you time to see how your new pet settles in. At the end of the week, we’ll finalize the adoption if it’s working out—or welcome the animal back if it’s not the right fit.
Our goal is to find loving, lasting homes while keeping the process as stress-free as possible for both you and the animal.
