Meet Jafar! 🐶💛 he is a 7 month old, 30lb puppy with a huge heart and an even bigger love for people! He’s friendly with everyone he meets and has been especially wonderful with his foster’s toddler.
Jafar is a happy, playful guy who loves romping around with his foster dog siblings and would thrive with another dog to play with!!! 🐕 He has no issues with food or toy guarding and is a very social boy. We’re unsure on how he would do with cats.
Like many puppies, Jafar is still learning the ropes. Daytime crating can be tough for him and he’ll let you know when he’s unhappy, but he does sleep overnight in his crate (especially when it’s in the room with his people)! He’s also been practicing short daytime crate naps and improving each day. Once he’s fully potty trained and past the puppy chewing phase, he may not need a crate at all!
He’s doing very well with potty training with consistency, eats well, rides great in the car, and already knows how to sit— this guy is smart and eager to learn! 🧠✨ He’s walked briefly on a leash and did just fine. While he’s been using a fenced yard to potty, he does not require a fence.
Jafar is very snuggly and a little clingy🤗, especially with his foster mom, and would do best in a home where someone is around often or willing to help him ease into alone time gradually!💕
If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, people-loving puppy, Jafar might be your perfect match — apply below🥰🐾

Additional adoption info
Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.
