My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rusty Dusty 🧡
6-month-old Standard Australian Shepherd | Parvo Survivor
Rusty Dusty is proof that resilience comes wrapped in fluff. This 6-month-old Standard Aussie is a Parvo survivor, and after fighting hard and recovering, rescue stepped in to help him find the loving forever home he truly deserves.
Rusty is fully vetted and comes with all the good-boy credentials: walks nicely on leash, crate trained, potty trained, and house trained. He’s great with dogs, kids, and even cats, making him an easy addition to a variety of homes.
Personality-wise, Rusty is the best of both worlds. He’s playful and athletic, but not hyper. He loves outdoor adventures and playtime, then happily settles in for cuddles and snuggles. He can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly once he knows he’s safe — and then you get the full Rusty experience: affectionate, gentle, and quietly devoted.
Rusty does wonderfully with other dogs and would love a canine friend to play with. He’s not much of a barker, has a calm, confident presence, and carries himself with a sweet, thoughtful demeanor that makes him easy to fall for.
Rusty Dusty has already overcome so much in his short life, and now he’s ready for the best chapter yet. He’s going to make some very lucky person or family an absolutely excellent companion. 🧡🐶

Go meet their pets

After being approved by a team member, you'll be able to schedule a meet and greet with the pup that best matches your needs.

All of our pets are in private foster homes and many times the meeting will happen in a safe public location.

All animals are available to begin their home trials once the meeting has concluded and the rescue agrees to allow the pet to move forward to this stage.
