My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Angus

Professional adventurer. Tug-of-war champion. Confidence in puppy form.

Angus is a 6-week-old bundle of bravery who will be ready to head to his forever home on February 22nd. While were not totally sure what breed his dad was (mystery man), we do expect Angus to grow into a medium-sized dog with a large personality.

This guy is all confidence, all the time. New toys? Yes. New places? Absolutely. Tug-of-war? He accepts your challenge and will not back down. Angus lives for playtime and treats every day like a brand-new questbecause in his mind, it is.

Hes curious, bold, and always ready to see whats around the next corner (or under the couch). If youre looking for a puppy who will keep you laughing, moving, and wondering how someone so small can be so fearless, Angus is your guy.

Adopt Angus if youre ready for big energy, big adventures, and a lifetime of tug-of-war losses

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
