My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: 12/30/23

Hello, I'm Marshmallow, or as my foster dad calls me, Marshall. I was named after the super sweet treat and my beautiful buff color (just like a perfectly toasted marshmallow).

A nice couple found me on the city streets and took me in. Sadly, they did not have the ability to care for me, so reached out for help. The volunteers at GRASP picked me up, found me a foster home, and now I'm fully vetted and looking for a home to call my own.

Sadly, life on the streets was not kind to me and I have tested positive for feline leukemia. Currently, I am happy and healthy and with a low stress life, it will help me to remain my best self.

I'm told my fur is soft as a bunny. All I need is a lap and lots of love to be your devoted BFF. Because of my leukemia, I can't live with other kitties (but I'd prefer that anyway).

I have a special adoption fee, so please apply to discuss.

This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
