Meet Nalu
Nalu is the definition of gentle affection. The moment she sees you, the purring starts—soft, steady, and full of love. She is a purring machine. She may be a little skittish at first, but don’t let that fool you. If you sit down or pause for a moment, Nalu will make her move, rubbing against your legs and politely asking for pets.
She loves sitting right next to her person for cuddles, and with a little coaxing (Churu is her love language), she may even grace you with a short but sweet lap visit. Nalu has the cutest chirps you’ve ever heard—she uses them to say hello, ask for attention, or simply join the conversation. She’s definitely chatty and will happily chirp back every time you talk to her.
Playtime is one of her favorite ways to bond. Wand toys, chasing balls, and interactive play make her light up. While she enjoys affection, Nalu prefers her love on her terms and doesn’t like to be held for long—she’s more of a “sit with me” kind of girl.
Nalu would do best in a calm home with someone patient who appreciates a cat that builds trust, communicates sweetly, and shows love in the most heart-melting ways. Once she chooses you, she’s all in.
Nalu is vaccinated, spayed, and healthy (fiv negative and felv negative)
If you are interested in adopting Nalu please fill out adoption form on our website and our staff will review and reach out shortly (link to adoption form is below)

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
