My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chester 🐾
Chester is a playful, cuddly guy with a big heart and an even bigger love for quality hangout time. He can be a little unsure of new places at first, but with a bit of patience and love, he settles in beautifully and shows his affectionate, goofy side.

In his foster home, Chester has been doing great learning the ropes. He’s mastered going up and down the stairs, knows how to sit, and walks nicely on a leash — he even does well on walks down Cibolo. He’s crate training and working on potty training, and does a good job using puppy pads.

Chester loves playing fetch and relaxing by watching TV — the perfect mix of playful and chill. He does great around new people, kids, cats, and other dogs, and he’s a very quiet pup who rarely (if ever) barks.

Chester would thrive in a home willing to give him a bit of reassurance as he adjusts. In return, he’ll give plenty of cuddles, loyalty, and entertainment 💛

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
