Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet me - Thor. Yes, that Thor. God of Thunder. Destroyer of Squeaky Toys.
I’m a 1-year-old heeler/hound mix with a strong work ethic when it comes to playtime and a deep emotional connection to my toys. If it squeaks, crinkles, rolls, or dares to exist within my reach… it is mine now.
I’ve got the brains of a heeler and the nose of a hound, which means I’m always investigating something important. Like where you hid the treats. Or why that leaf moved suspiciously. Or whether this toy still squeaks if I attack it from a new angle.
I’m playful, fun, and fully powered by zoomies, curiosity, and joy. I love engaging with my people, tossing toys at your feet like a polite but persistent request, and turning ordinary days into epic adventures.
If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a big personality, a wagging tail, and the ability to make you laugh daily, I am ready to answer the call.
Adopt me. I promise to protect your home from boredom and un-squeaked toys.
If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list.
The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, and are dewormed.
