Meet Luna — our soft silver survivor with the biggest heart.
Luna was one of five forgotten souls we found living in an abandoned house that was scheduled for demolition. A kind woman had been feeding them, but winter was brutal — so cold you could see your breath inside the house. Squatters came and went. Safety was never guaranteed. And yet… when we arrived, these cats didn’t run.
They leaned in.
They wanted to be chosen.
It was obvious they had once known love — and then were discarded like yesterday’s trash.
Sweet Luna was pregnant when we rescued her, quietly carrying new life while surviving on scraps in the freezing cold. She is blind in her left eye, likely from an old injury. We ran every test to ensure she isn’t in pain — and she’s not. It doesn’t slow her down one bit. If anything, it makes her even more extraordinary.
This girl is pure affection. An absolute lovebug. She melts into your arms, purrs like a motor, and will gently tap you for more pets if you dare to stop. She’s playful, joyful, and so easy to adore that the entire vet office fell in love with her.
And then there’s Heathcliff. 🧡
Our big orange tabby lug of love.
The way these two look at each other? It’s the kind of bond you don’t see every day. They nap together. Groom each other. Seek each other out. She clearly feels safe with him, and he dotes on her like a gentleman.
In a perfect world, we would love for Luna and Heathcliff to find a home together — a warm couch, sunny windows, and humans who will never leave them behind again.
Luna has already survived being forgotten.
Now she’s ready to be cherished.
Ohhhh Luna. 🩶 This girl has a story.
