My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Akistra 🐾✨**

Akistra is a gentle, shy girl who came to us as a stray and is slowly learning that the world can be a kind place. She may take a little time to feel comfortable, but once she does, her personality shines through—especially in the form of her sweet **meows and happy chirps**. She’s quite the conversationalist!

Akistra enjoys treats like **Churu** and will let you pick her up, though she’ll politely wiggle free when she’s ready to be on her own again. She can become a bit overstimulated if touched near the base of her tail and will use her voice to let you know when she needs space. She prefers to be the **only cat**, as she will also vocalize to ask other cats to move away.

With patience, respect for her boundaries, and a calm home, Akistra will make a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a cat who communicates clearly and opens up in her own time. 💕🐱
