My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Warrick is a cute little beagle mix (best guess) and we expect he will be medium sized when full grown.
He is sweet, fun and active pup looking for a family to show him the ropes. A physically fenced yard is preferred due to him being a puppy to keep him safe. He is still young and will need to work on potty and leash training and would do best with children over 8 years old.

He is neutered, current on vaccinations, preventions and microchipped. He is outgoing and fun and does well with other dogs. Anyone who knows the breed knows the adventures you can expect with this sweet boy!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

First step in our process is to submit an application through our website. They are reviewed and we contact those who could be a good match

2.
Interview

Phone interview to get more information about you, your family and tell you more about the pup(s) you are interested in.

3.
Approve Application

Once we approve an application, we set the status of the pup to "Adoption Pending" and schedule a home visit and meet and greet.

4.
Home Check

We arrange a meet and greet and home visit if within distance. If all goes well we will finalize adoption at the end of this meeting.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with submitting an Adoption Application which can be found on our website at www.safehaventn.com. From there you will be contacted by one of our Adoption Coordinators. Our adoption donations are usually $150 for adult dogs and $200 - $300 for puppies - depending on the animal, breed, etc. We expect that our pets will live indoors, and will be adopted to families who have the desire to add another family member to their home. A vet reference is required.

Safe Haven Puppy Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of abandoned and orphaned puppies.
