My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Casper is at Cat & Craft in Vista. ***

Casper #20091: solid white w/gray, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 3/27/24

Cats: enjoys, would appreciate a friend
Dogs: great!
Children: late elementary+

BACKGROUND: Casper was found on the streets of LA trying to fend for himself. A local rescuer took him in and he later transferred to The Rescue House.

PERSONALITY: Big boy Casper loves it when you talk to him as you pet him! Like a true cat, a heated pad is like a magnet to him. He’s sweet and affectionate and definitely a chow hound… clever Casper will paw at his food dish to let you know he’s hungry. He enjoys having plenty of space to explore and move around and doesn’t like being cramped in a small apartment or shut in a room.

COMPATIBILITY: Casper fostered with other cats and dogs and did great with both—he would regularly sleep with one of the large mellow dogs. He really enjoys having the company of another animal and would not like to be an only pet. He did well with the older children in his foster home. Casper fostered with Sunny #20093 and they would be a good match.

Friendly and mellow, Casper is ready to show you what a treasure he’ll be for YOU!
