My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lady

Lady is a beautiful female Bloodhound with the sweetest soul. This gentle girl has been through more than any dog ever should. She was found starving and severely emaciated after being dumped and left to fend for herself in the cold. Despite the heartbreak in her past, Lady’s spirit has remained incredibly loving and trusting.

She’s still working on gaining back some healthy weight, but she’s making wonderful progress every day. With good meals, warm blankets, and caring hands, Lady is blossoming into the happy, affectionate dog she was always meant to be.

True to her Bloodhound nature, Lady loves to follow her nose and take in the world around her—but her favorite thing to follow is her people. She absolutely adores humans and will happily stay by your side, especially if you happen to have a snack in hand. Treats are definitely the way to her heart!

Lady gets along great with other animals and has a gentle, easygoing personality. She thrives on companionship, affection, and positive attention.

Lady is looking for a forever home where she will never again know hunger or abandonment—only love, security, and plenty of treats. If you’re ready to open your heart to a resilient, loyal, food-loving sweetheart, Lady is ready to meet you.
