Hi Friends!

My name is Brawny and I am just over a year old! I really like treats and will do anything you ask (if you teach me what I'm supposed to do) for some treats. I have mastered sit and shake but I'm ready to learn more! I really enjoy children and I like other dogs. My current foster doggy sibling wants to play ALL THE TIME but I like to take breaks and cuddle with my humans on the couch. I am also house/potty trained so I won't potty in the house. I am crate trained and will go in quietly and lay down for a nap or bed when it's time. What can I say....I'm a laid back/go with the flow kinda guy.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
