My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patra is a black domestic shorthair male who is approximately 2 years old.

Meet Patra! If you are looking for a master biscuit maker, Patra is your guy. This sweet boy kneads up a storm and will happily settle in for long, cozy snuggle sessions without any sign of stopping. He is incredibly affectionate, very confident, and not shy about letting you know how he feels.

Patra is quite the vocal companion and loves to chat with his people. He will gladly follow you from room to room, just to be part of whatever you are doing.
Patra especially enjoys chin scratches and has a soft spot for burrowing under the blankets for a warm nap beside you. He truly thrives on closeness and companionship.

Like many affectionate cats, Patra can become a little overstimulated during petting and prefers that his tummy be admired from afar. He communicates clearly when he has had enough and does best with someone who can read his cues and redirect him when needed. He has been doing wonderfully in his foster home and continues to show how loving and loyal he can be.

Patra is a devoted, cuddly boy who is ready to bring warmth, conversation, and lots of biscuits into his forever home.

Patra would likely do well with other cats and dogs with a proper slow introduction.

Patra is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. He is FIV and FeLV negative and on parasite preventions. His adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
