My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Parker is a six-weeks-old cutie currently weighing around 2 lbs. He appears to be a Poodle/Terrier mix, possibly with a little Shih Tzu, and with a petite mom and unknown dad, his exact mix remains a mystery. He is expected to stay on the smaller side and is already winning hearts everywhere he goes.

Parker is a happy go lucky little guy with a gentle, affectionate nature. He enjoys playing with his siblings and then settling in for cuddle time. He has been well socialized and handled regularly, making him a wonderful match for a family ready to continue positive puppy experiences and training. If you’re looking for a playful companion who also loves to snuggle, Parker may be the perfect fit.

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $475
1 year - 6 years $425
7 years+ - $375

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
