My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peyton is a six-weeks-old male puppy currently weighing around 2 lbs. Like his siblings, he appears to be a Poodle/Terrier mix, possibly with a little Shih Tzu, and with a petite mom and unknown dad, his full heritage is a bit of a mystery. He is expected to remain on the smaller side.

Peyton is a friendly, playful little boy who loves being around people. He thrives on attention and happily curls up in your lap after playtime. He has been well socialized and handled regularly, making him a great match for a family ready to continue his training and development while raising a happy and well adjusted companion.

Peyton will be ready to go to his forever home on February 23rd but you can get your application in today!

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $475
1 year - 6 years $425
7 years+ - $375

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
