My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luly is the sweetest little mix that loves to curl up with you on the couch. She has really beautiful heterochromia (one brown eye, one blue eye) a nd a super soft white and black spotted coat. She is a little shy and timid at first which who can blame her? This sweet girl was dumped with a microchip and no owner came for her! When she warms up, she shows her goofy and loving personality. She LOVES her foster brother (another pup who is twice her size) and is starting to come out of her shell to play with him. We believe she is about 4 years old according to her microchip information.

This sweet girl was found as a stray near Buffalo Bayou with no owner attempting to claim her. We believe she has been out as a stray for some time due to her very skinny appearance but she is LOVING putting some pounds back on! She would make a great addition to any home that can give her unconditional love attention and the support she needs to keep gaining her confidence back.

Go meet their pets

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.
