My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luna Negra is looking for a foster or her forever home.

This beautiful girl is about two years old and is ready for a soft place to land. Through no fault of her own, she found herself needing a new beginning, and she has handled it with so much grace.

Luna Negra is fully vetted and house trained. She is currently in training and doing incredibly well. She is smart, eager to learn, and really thrives when she has structure and guidance. You can see how much she wants to please her people.

She does well with medium and large dogs and would enjoy a confident canine companion, but she also bonds deeply to her humans. She is an amazing snuggler and happiest when she is curled up close after a walk or training session.

Right now, she needs a foster to help her transition safely while we continue reviewing applications for her forever family. A foster home will give her stability, routine, and the love she deserves while she waits. All supplies and support are provided.

If you are looking for a loyal, intelligent, affectionate companion, Luna Negra could be your girl. Whether you can open your home short term as a foster or forever as her adopter, you would be changing her life in the most beautiful way.

Please send us a message if you can help Luna Negra take the next step toward the happy ending she deserves.

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs and cats come spayed/neutered and vaccinated! Some of the pups will only have their first round of shots and may need rabies if they are under 3 months old. But other than that, these babies come ready to go! Our adoption fees vary, please inquire about each dog's individual fees. We do have cats and kittens available from time to time, so please inquire if you are looking for a feline pal! With their vetting, flights and care, we only ask for the adoption donation to help offset costs and make sure our adopters are serious. We love our rescues like we love our family. They mean the world to us and we just want to see them in good loving homes! And please check back as we are always adding new rescues to this page.

More about this rescue

We approach each every situation with an open mind. We work to build respect and trust with the partners, communities and countries we work in. With their acceptance, we build a plan together to meet the most pressing issues. We listen, learn and solve the needs together. We look for solutions that are integrated, scale-able, and sustainable. At Compassion Kind, we work with governments, institutions, local leaders, civil society organizations, foundations and businesses around the world to ensure that the most vulnerable beings are heard, and that they get the assistance they need to sustain from within the communities. Our teams and partners advocate for capacity building training and grass roots techniques so we make a lasting impact, create measurable change and operate as efficiently as possible.
