My name is Buttermilk!

Buttermilk is a young girl (around a year old) with a gentle, shy personality. She may take time to feel safe in a new environment, but she’s observant, sweet-natured, and quietly affectionate once she begins to trust.

She shares a special bond with her sister, Brown Sugar, and feels most confident when she has a familiar feline friend nearby. While they can be adopted separately, we would absolutely love to see them go home together if the right family is open to welcoming both.

Buttermilk prefers soft voices, cozy spaces, and a predictable routine. With consistency, patience, and love, she has the potential to blossom into a deeply devoted companion. If you have a heart for shy kitties, she may be your perfect match.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
