My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coco!

Coco is a sweet, sensitive soul with the gentlest heart. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new places, especially if things are loud or busy. Sudden noises can make her pause and take a step back — but give her a little patience and reassurance, and you’ll quickly see her true personality shine.

Once Coco feels safe, she is incredibly friendly and loving. She warms up beautifully and forms strong bonds with her people. She’ll greet you with soft tail wags, bright eyes, and a quiet kind of joy that feels extra special because you’ve earned her trust.

Coco would thrive in a calm, predictable home where she can build confidence at her own pace. A quieter environment and gentle guidance will help her blossom into the happy, devoted companion she’s meant to be.

If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will reward your patience with endless sweetness and affection, Coco is ready to find her safe place — and her forever person.

Additional adoption info

*Please note that walk-in appointments are welcomed and encouraged, and will be prioritized over online applications.

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your environment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
