My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Morgan is a 10-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix who weighs 49 pounds. He’s a quite chunky right now and will benefit from some regular walks and healthy meals to help him shed some pounds, but that doesn’t slow down his happy spirit one bit.

This lovable boy is full of charm and joy. He’s a true wiggle-butt who adores going for walks, exploring, and even chasing his own tail when he’s feeling playful. Despite his age, Morgan is young at heart and has plenty of love and life left to give.

At the shelter, Morgan keeps his kennel clean and has shown that he’s eager to please—especially if treats are involved. In fact, treats are the best way to capture his attention, and he’ll happily sit for one - just make sure to limit treat time.

Morgan is on medicated ear drops and will need to remain on them for the rest of his life. He'll also thrive in a home where someone is home most of the time.

If you’re looking for a sweet, cheerful senior who’s equal parts teddy bear and best friend, Morgan is ready to wiggle his way into your heart. His minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
