My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tip Toe (aka Tipiii Toe!)

Tip Toe is a 10-month-old medium-haired sweetheart with the heart of an old soul and the personality of your most loyal best friend. This little love bug lives up to his name by quietly sneaking his way into your heart, usually starting with his signature greeting: a gentle nose boop and full-body rub to say hello. He truly believes every day should start (and end) with love.

Tip Toe has a calm, kind spirit that feels like a tiny grandpa in a young cat’s body. He’s incredibly patient, gentle with kids, and happiest when he’s surrounded by friends. Right now, he’s living with another cat named Cake, and the two love spending time together. Even more impressive, Tip Toe might actually think he’s part dog! He plays beautifully with dogs and is one of the most dog-friendly cats you’ll ever meet. If you have a dog at home, Tip Toe would likely be thrilled to have a canine buddy.

His energy level is medium, he enjoys playtime with his furry friends, then happily heads off to his favorite hobby: napping in the highest spot he can find so he can supervise the house from above. He’s fully litter trained and easygoing in his daily routine.

While Tip Toe prefers to keep all four paws on the ground (he’s not the biggest fan of being held), he makes up for it by staying close, following you around, and offering plenty of affection on his own terms.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will greet you like you’re the best part of his day, Tip Toe might be your perfect match. He’d especially love a home with another cat or a friendly dog to share his adventures (and nap spots).

Tipiii Toe is ready to tiptoe his way into your heart!

Currently fostered with: Cake.

I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
