Hi… I’m Pepper — but my friends call me Peppy. I’ve had quite the journey so far. My family had to move and couldn’t bring me along. With my previous family, I lived in the home for two years. I didn’t love the other cats in the house, so I embraced the shop cat lifestyle — greeting customers, keeping an eye on things, and still living alongside two other cats (who I politely chose to ignore). Let’s just say… I prefer people over cats. I’m not aggressive at all — I just like my own space when it comes to other felines. If you already have cats at home, I’ll need a very slow, patient introduction so I can adjust comfortably. Now humans? That’s a different story. I’m fairly friendly and not afraid of much. Complete strangers can usually pet me, and I handle new situations with a calm, confident vibe. I’m independent, but I do have a soft, affectionate side. I’ll hop into your lap throughout the day, stay for about 10 minutes, soak up some love… and then I’m off again. I’ve spent time outdoors regularly, and I’ve lived with adults and lots of shop visitors. I haven’t lived with dogs, and I haven’t been around children, so slow introductions there would be best, too. What did my previous family love most about me? My calm demeanor and strong, independent personality. They say I’m a great cat who deserves a wonderful life — and they’re going to miss me a great deal. If you’re looking for a confident, low-key companion who will share affection on his own sweet terms, I might just be your guy. I promise to bring quiet company, little lap visits, and steady companionship to the
