My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I’m Buddy

I’m a 6-year-old gentleman who’s looking for a calm, loving home. I was surrendered through no fault of my own—my previous family loved me, but couldn’t afford to care for me anymore. I’m hoping my next chapter is a forever one.

I’m an independent and quiet guy who truly appreciates peace and routine. If there’s a cozy corner nearby, chances are you’ll find me curled up there, keeping an eye on the world. I enjoy being pet and will happily soak up affection—until I’ve had my fill, at which point I’ll politely walk away. I believe in boundaries, and I’m very good at communicating them.

I’ve lived with a dog before, and we co-existed just fine. When new people come over, I may choose to hide at first, but once I find my people—the ones I trust—I become a loyal, steady companion who will quietly be by your side.

If you’re looking for a calm presence, a respectful relationship, and a cat who chooses you as much as you choose him…
