My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DINK here! Nice to meet you!

Ive been told Im the sweetest snuggler youll ever meet. Im about 12 years old but honestly, I act like a middle age dog! Im a medium-sized guy at 38 pounds. My humans think I might be a terrier mix with a little schnauzer in me whatever I am, Im 100% lovable.

Im a soft-hearted, spry boy who lives for walks, treats, car rides, cozy couches, warm laps, and being close to my person. I am a real happy boy my tail wags a lot and I am happiest being with people and other dogs.

My life changed when my family sadly lost their home in a fire, and I ended up at a local pound. Thankfully, I was rescued by Canine Collective and am placed in a loving foster home. Im ready to start my next chapter with someone who will cherish me as much as Ill cherish them.

Why youll love me:

Im quiet, easygoing, and walk nicely on a leash

Im housebroken

I adore people and bond quickly

I enjoy other dogs and love playing with them

Im a loyal companion with lots of love to give

If youre looking for a gentle, low-maintenance buddy who will warm your heart and your couch, I might just be your perfect match.

My foster mama can answer any questions about me, and you can apply to adopt me at CanineCollective.org

Hope to meet you soon Ill be the one waiting with wagging tail and snuggles ready.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
