***Local adoption only: Jenny needs to be adopted by a family in the Central Florida region (Orlando area) who will commit to taking her to her follow-up vetting appointments for remaining vaccines and spay with PPR's vetting partner. These appointments have already been scheduled and their cost is covered in the adoption donation.***
Hi there! I’m Jenny, a 4monthold Shih Tzu–Chihuahua blend weighing about 10 pounds. My name means “white wave,” which fits me perfectly because I bring a bright, happy spark wherever I go.
Favorite Things: Toys are Jenny’s greatest treasure. She has a youthful zest for play and is just as content curling up for warm, comforting cuddles. Her loving personality shines through in every interaction.
Training and Manners: Jenny is already showing lovely puppy manners. She picks up new commands quickly and happily works for treats, which makes training a joy. She’s progressing well with her potty training and does great when kept on a regular schedule. She walks nicely on a leash, rides calmly in the car and sleeps through the night in her dog bed.
Health and Care: Jenny is a healthy girl who only needs routine care such as baths, nail trims and monthly heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. She will require a home in the Central Florida (Orlando) area that can take her to her remaining puppy vet appointments and spay, already scheduled with PPR’s vetting partner and covered by her adoption donation.
Other Animals: Jenny enjoys dogs of all sizes and has experience playing with larger companions who match her enthusiasm. She’ll thrive with a dog who appreciates romping and isn’t bothered by her occasional protective moments. She hasn’t met cats yet, but her temperament suggests she would likely do well with them.
Children: Jenny is comfortable with children of all ages. Her gentle, cheerful disposition makes her a wonderful match for households that enjoy a warm, engaging puppy.
Ideal Home: Jenny prefers a home where someone is around often, simply because she loves staying close to her people. When alone, she does well in a secure area. She would be perfectly content in an apartment, condo or townhome as long as she gets companionship, playtime and steady guidance.
