My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chippet is a brilliant and watchful little soul who is ready to capture your heart! Born just this past December, this young Lab mix is already showing off a level of intelligence well beyond her weeks. She isn't your typical high-speed puppy; instead, she’s a calm observer who will patiently sit by your side, tracking your every move to see exactly how she can help with your daily routine. Whether you’re folding laundry or working from home, Chippet is right there, soaking it all in with her soulful eyes.

Chippet is always a friend in the making, getting along famously with humans and dogs of all sizes. ‍ She is already microchipped, up-to-date on her vaccines, and has her spay surgery on the books! Since she is still such a young scholar, she’ll need a patient family to guide her through the basics of puppyhood. She’s looking for a leader to start her on potty, kennel, and leash training to help her blossom into the best dog she can be. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal companion who truly "sees" you, Chippet is your girl!

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
