My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hey all, I'm Bella, aka 'BEAUTIFUL'. Female Border Collie Mix, 1 year old weighing 37#. Found as a stray in WV, I'm now safe in a foster home with big/little buddy dogs and room to run.
Smart as a whip, I move fast,  want to please, take correction seriously, have great recall and already a Velcro-Dog to mom.
I Loved Loved, LOVED my bubble bath,  the rub down felt sooooooo gooooood toooo! Of course,  Zoomies throughout the house followed. 'Watch out all, here comes Silly Bella!' Zoooooooooooooooooooooooooooom!
My silky/soft black/white coatis highlighted by brown ticking over my lower body! Oh, what a looker I am! Being VERY treat motivate, learning will be no issue for me. After some exercise, I'm ready for a good nap at your feet.
Still a puppy at heart, I admit to being doppy, excited about life and full of energy wanting to explore. Mom says my future will only get brighter.
Come on out and meet me at our Castaway Critters events at Petco, I'll be glad to meet you with open paws, give you a lick and flash my Beautiful eyes! Bella is perfect, inside and out!

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
