Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Calvin! Calvin is a sweet pup just over 6 months old who made his way from Puerto Rico to Massachusetts in hopes of finding his forever home. Calvin’s beginning was a sad one. His mom was kept in a chicken coop, where a hole allowed a male dog to enter. Soon after, Calvin and his sister Holly were born. The little family continued to live in the chicken coop, and not long after, the owner planned to bring them to a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, once word got out, a kind rescuer stepped in and gave them a second — and much brighter — chance at life. Calvin, his sister, and their mom were placed in a loving foster home down in Puerto Rico, where they were finally able to feel safe and cared for. There, Calvin truly began to thrive. He can be a bit shy around new people at first, but once he gets to know you, his personality shines through. He’s playful, affectionate, and loves giving lots of kisses. Calvin enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do best in a home with a confident canine companion to help show him the ropes and build his confidence. Calvin is ready to leave his past behind and start the next chapter of his life with a family who will love him forever. Does Calvin sound like a good fit for you?
