Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Holly! Holly is a sweet young pup just over 6 months old who traveled from Puerto Rico to Massachusetts in search of her forever home. Holly’s start in life was a difficult one. Her mom was kept in a chicken coop, where a hole allowed a male dog to enter. Soon after, Holly and her brother Calvin were born. The small family continued living in the chicken coop, and before long, the owner planned to surrender them to a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, once word spread, a compassionate rescuer stepped in and gave them the chance they so deeply deserved. Holly, her mom, and her brother were placed in a loving foster home down in Puerto Rico, where she was finally able to grow up feeling safe and cared for. In foster care, Holly thrived and began to show her gentle, loving personality. Holly can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms into a playful, affectionate girl who loves attention and cuddles. She enjoys being around other dogs and would do wonderfully in a home with a canine companion to help build her confidence and show her the joys of family life. Holly is a tender-hearted pup with so much love to give — she’s ready to start her next chapter with a family who will cherish her forever. Does Holly sound like the right fit for you?
