My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luna and Dewey are a sweet bonded pair searching for a loving home together.

Luna is a 10-year-old black female, and Dewey is an 8-year-old cream male. They are very much cats through and through — affectionate and social when they want attention, but also appreciative of their personal space (a tall cat tree or high perch is highly recommended!).

They have lived their entire lives indoors in both apartments and houses, and have successfully shared space with dogs and young children (including infants and toddlers). They are chatty companions who will politely — and sometimes insistently — let you know when it’s time for meals or affection.

Dewey is extremely food-motivated and uses a slow feeder to prevent eating too quickly. He will happily sneak Luna’s food if given the chance, so her bowl is typically picked up after meals. Eating too fast can make him vomit, but this is easily managed with routine feeding habits. Neither cat has any medical issues and both receive regular veterinary care, wellness exams, and vaccinations.

Like many cats, they may need a little time to adjust to a new home. Once they feel safe and settled, their loving personalities truly shine — they enjoy cuddles, companionship, and being near their people.

Their family wants them to transition comfortably, so all of their belongings can go with them to their new home.

If you’re looking for a pair that brings both affection and personality into your life, Luna and Dewey would love to meet you.  They live in Bend with their family and their rehoming fee is $100.

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
