Meet Hico ❤️ — the tiny tornado with a giant heart
Hico is a 4–8‑month‑old, 7.2‑lb (as of Feb 10) bundle of joy whose mom is an 18‑lb Chihuahua mix and whose dad is a delightful mystery. With his expressive face and quirky build, he looks like he’s carrying a fun blend of chi, shepherd, and maybe even a dash of chibble charm. We expect he’ll grow into a medium-sized dog, around 30 lbs.

Submit Application

Please go to our webpage www.texaschihuahuarescuecanada.org and submit an online application.

2.
Approve Application

We will approve your application by calling your vet and your personal reference. Once you have been approved, it's time choose your pet!

3.
Pay Fee

Payment can be done by e-transfer to txcrcanada@gmail.com

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once your payment is confirmed, we will confirm your Transport Date with you, the day your new family member will arrive in Canada.

Additional adoption info

All existing pets must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. Please complete an application at www.texaschihuahuarecuecanada.com Vet check, personal reference and home visit required.
