My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ben!

Looking for a pocket-sized husky with a big personality? Ben is your guy! At about 30 pounds and approximately a year old (per vet paperwork), this handsome boy may still have a little growing to do but hes already overflowing with charm. And lets talk about those eyes Ben has one striking blue eye and one deep, dark eye, giving him that classic husky look that stops people in their tracks. His mismatched eyes perfectly match his fun, lively personality.

Ben is everything people love about huskies friendly, playful, outgoing, and full of life. He was super social during his photo shoot, happily soaking up attention and leaning in for pets. Not shy in the slightest, Ben genuinely enjoys being around people and brings a happy, playful energy wherever he goes. At his age, Ben is still very much in that young, playful stage. He has that classic husky-level energy and enthusiasm for life, and hell thrive with an active family who can keep him engaged with walks, adventures, and training to keep that smart brain busy. And yes he also comes with husky-level shedding, so a good vacuum will definitely be part of the deal!

Ben is affectionate, lively, and just plain fun to be around. If youre looking for a young husky with personality, playfulness, and unforgettable eyes, Ben may be your perfect match.. Apply at www.caninecollective.org.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
