Meet Jinx!
Around here, we call him Jinxy — and this 2-month-old cutie is full of personality, playfulness, and puppy charm.
Jinx is a sweet, loyal little guy who loves being near his people and happily settles in for snuggles after a good play session. He has that perfect mix of affectionate and fun that makes puppyhood so special.
Playtime is serious business for Jinx — especially when a rope toy is involved! He lives for a good tug-of-war and brings the cutest bouncy energy to every game. Whether he’s romping around with other pups or exploring his surroundings, he’s always ready to join the action.
He’s doing well with puppy pads and is just starting to learn pottying outside like a big boy. Right now he prefers a puppy pen over a crate, but he’s young and eager to learn with consistency and patience.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
