Maple was found with an older kitten in a tree, meowing and scared, but it took no time for them to feel settled in their rescuers home. The older kitten is already living their best life in a furever home in Colorado and now it's Maple's turn!
Maple is an extraordinary kitty- very playful, inquisitive, and lots of energy! She does very well with dogs and other cats, although she is quite cautious with them. She loves attention, and demands it! She is a purring machine too! She’ll make a great family member for whomever adopts her!
Litter box trained: Yes
Maple has made the flight up from San Antonio, Texas to Colorado and is being fostered in Denver, available to meet!
Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa.
Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado. We primarily rescue dogs off the streets and from kill shelters in San Antonio.

Submit foster application if you only wish to foster, and an adoption application if you wish to adopt or foster with the intent of adoption

After your app is submitted, we will reach out to have a conversation and schedule a time for you to meet the pet
Approve Application
If you decide to move forward after the meet and greet we will officially approve your application
Take the Pet Home
After your app is approved, we will complete foster or adoption paperwork and you will take the pet home
