Greetings! Our names are Ali and Awa. We came to Good Home when our family was rescued from a junkyard in Crown Heights. We’re living in foster care now and are learning how fun indoor life can be!
We are super playful! We love a wand toy and playtime with our human. We also love playing with each other and are big into evening zoomies. We even talk to each other with the cutest little mews and chirps!
When it’s not playtime we’re all about getting love and attention. Ali is more confident and outgoing – my foster human says I can be a “velcro cat” - if you sit down, I *will* crawl into your lap and cuddle until you move. Awa is a little more reserved, but I will definitely ask for pats if I want them. When Ali is having a patting session, I don’t like being left out! And while I’m not a lap cat, I’ve recently learned how great snuggling on the couch can be.
We both have good manners and are not aggressive – though neither of us like loud noises or sudden movements (especially Awa). We need a little time to warm up to a new environment, but once we gain confidence we really like being involved in home life. When we aren’t playing or being affectionate with our human, we like having a safe, cozy nook to snooze in.
We would be happiest in a quiet, low activity home with humans who will give us space, playtime, and snuggles. It takes a little time for us to come out of our shells but once we do, we have so much love to give! We’d do best in a home with no dogs or kids, and plants should probably be kept out of our reach (we have been known to chew/dig a little). And because Ali loves mealtime, we'd be happiest if fed apart from each other so Ali doesn't "sample" Awa's food! That being said, Ali is not aggressive just food motivated.
Patient, gentle humans who give us room to come to them in our own time will be rewarded with so much affection and joy from us both. Could this be you?
