You know how every shelter says, "This is the friendliest cat ever"? We're NOT exaggerating. Ruben is genuinely the friendliest cat I've ever had to write about, and I say that with full professional credibility.
Ruben is basically a kitten who forgot to grow up. He wakes up every morning and chooses chaos and cuddles. Feather toys get him airborne. Crumpled paper turns him into an Olympic-level athlete. Shoelaces? He'll happily untie them.
And attention? Ruben doesn't like, love, or require attention. Ruben's very essence is completely dependent upon it. He thrives on it. If affection was electricity, Ruben could power the grid for the entire state of New Jersey single-pawed. He will greet you, chat with you, supervise your daily tasks, and make certain you'll never feel alone ever again (including in the bathroom.)
While I've expressed how hard he goes with playtime and attention seeking, it is important to mention that Ruben also naps hard. Face down, snoring, drooling, the whole bit. And it's very hard to wake him up sometimes. You'll definitely find yourself concerned for his livelihood at some point, but we promise you he's fine.
Ruben is ready to move in and make your house 94% more enjoyable immediately upon arrival. Apply to adopt now before he personally starts answering emails himself.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. SAVE is operating by appointment-only for approved adopters. For more information please call SAVE at 609-309-5214.
