Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tiger: The Senior Soulmate You`ve Been Searching For
If you`re looking for a companion who prefers head scratches over high-speed chases, meet Tiger. At 11 years young, Tiger has graduated from the `kitten chaos` phase and is looking for a soft place to land and a lap to call his own.
While he arrived as a stray, we’ve since learned more about his past and it turns out he’s even more of a catch than we thought!
Tiger is a total gentleman who has decided the indoor life is definitely his speed. According to a previous owner, he’s a social butterfly who truly thrives on companionship.
He has lived with other cats before and did well, making him a great candidate for a multi-cat household. He would also love a home where someone is around 24/7. If you work from home or are retired, he’s ready to be your dedicated office assistant (or professional nap supervisor). While he enjoys chin scratches, brushing is officially his favorite hobby. Show him a brush, and you’ll have a friend for life.
Tiger is in the early stages of kidney disease. While that sounds a bit serious, it’s actually quite common in distinguished seniors like him! To keep him feeling his best, he just needs a little routine: •A Prescription Diet: He’s a big fan of his special renal food, which helps take the workload off his kidneys. •Vet Check-ins: He’ll need periodic monitoring with your family vet to stay on top of his health.
While we know he likes other feline friends, his history with dogs or children remains a mystery. Our adoption counselors are happy to guide you through slow and controlled introductions to ensure everyone settles in perfectly.
Tiger has spent enough time wandering; he’s ready to be the king of your heart (and your sofa). If you have a brush and a lot of love to spare, Tiger has a lifetime of gratitude to give you.
Tiger is neutered, has received core vaccinations (Feline Distemper, Rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped.
If you have any questions about Tiger or our adoption process, feel free to reach out to adoption staff at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.
