Selkie is a sweet, adorable little kitten that’s always ready to cuddle and play! She loves gently taking your hand in her paws to lick you over and over, and loves to cuddle next to you in bed. She adores playing with feather-and-string toys, and is happy following you around in your home! Her fur is so soft as well, making her very fun to pet!
Selkie will be fully vetted, once she's spayed on 2/26/2026.
Selkie is being fostered in Golden, Colorado- available to meet!
Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa.
Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado. We primarily rescue dogs off the streets and from kill shelters in San Antonio.

Submit foster application if you only wish to foster, and an adoption application if you wish to adopt or foster with the intent of adoption
Meet the Pet
After your app is submitted, we will reach out to have a conversation and schedule a time for you to meet the pet
Approve Application
If you decide to move forward after the meet and greet we will officially approve your application
Take the Pet Home
After your app is approved, we will complete foster or adoption paperwork and you will take the pet home
