My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gavin 💛

Gavin is the definition of sweet and loving. This handsome boy has a gentle soul, adores affection, and will happily lean into pets while giving you those soft, grateful eyes. He’s the kind of cat who just wants to be near his people — whether that’s curled up beside you on the couch or greeting you at the door after a long day.

He’s ready to find a family who will shower him with love and let him return it tenfold. Gavin has so much affection to give and is just waiting for his forever person.

Could that be you? 💕

Please note - Gavin is know to have Feline calicivirus. Feline Calicivirus is a highly contagious virus that causes a mild to severe respiratory infection and oral disease in cats. It is especially common in shelters and breeding colonies, and often infects young cats. Most cats recover completely after a calicivirus infection, but rare strains can be especially dangerous. The virus poses no threat to humans.

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
