Maple is a sweet little bunny with a gentle soul. She can be a bit skittish and shy when meeting new people or hearing unfamiliar sounds, but with a little patience she warms up and shows her soft, curious personality!
She’s been working hard on her potty training and is doing really well! Maple would do best with a high-edge litter box, which helps keep her space nice and tidy. Maple has a few favorite treats - kale, carrots, and apple sticks are at the top of her list. She’s not overly interested in many toys, but she does enjoy chewing wicker balls and natural sticks, which keep her happily occupied!
Once she feels safe, Maple has the cutest habit of quietly hopping over to check on what you’re doing, like a tiny, fluffy supervisor making sure everything is just right. With a calm home and a little love, Maple will blossom into a wonderful companion!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
