Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Timber, a handsome 1-year-old Husky with a friendly personality and a love for adventure. Timber is confident around new people and enjoys being out exploring the world. True to his breed, he has plenty of energy and curiosity, and he thrives when he has outlets like walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures. This bright young husky already knows some basic cues like sit, down, and shake a paw, and he takes treats gently. He enjoys training and interaction with his people and will benefit from continued structure and positive reinforcement as he matures.
Timber is: open to kids - older children (16+) recommended open to dogs - do best with dogs of similar size and playstyle no cats or small animals

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
