Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mama Tina & Harriet 🩶🐾
Mama Tina and her daughter Harriet are a bonded pair looking for a patient and loving home where they can start their new chapter together. These sweet girls are very shy and fearful and shelter life has been especially hard on them. Because of this, they’ll need a calm home and adopters who understand that trust will take time. Tina and Harriet will need a slow and steady approach as they adjust to their new environment and the people in it. With patience, consistency and a quiet space, they have the potential to blossom into wonderful companions.
For the best outcome, a home with teens and up would be ideal so their space and boundaries can be respected while they settle in. They have lived with other cats before and may do well with additional feline friends after proper introductions.
Most importantly, Tina and Harriet must be adopted together, their bond brings them comfort and security as they navigate the world.
If you have a calm home and a big heart for shy kitties, these girls are ready for someone willing to take a chance on them. Are you ready to help these shy babes begin their new life together?
⭐ If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an adopter profile at www.parl.org/adopt and stop by during our open hours! ⭐

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
