Hi, I'm Hope! I'm known for my sweet nature and loyalty. I was a great momma cat to my babies. They have all been adopted and now it’s my turn. I’m always ready to snuggle up and share gentle purrs. I'm quite mellow, so if you're looking for a calm companion to share peaceful days with, I'm your cat. Adopting me means gaining a friend who will always be there to greet you with a playful swish and a warm nuzzle. Please make note that I am a "door-darter"--this means that I might run out of an open door to the outside.

We are foster home based. View our pets on AdoptaPet.com or at our adoption events Saturdays and Sundays 12-3pm at PetSmart in Prosper.

Approve Application

Once your application is approved, we ask you to sign the adoption agreement and pay a nominal fee.

Texas CARES' cats and kittens ARE NOT FOR SALE.
Cats and kittens are adopted by completing an adoption application that will be reviewed by the Texas CARES volunteer staff. Potential adopter(s) will be notified of the status of their application. This process can take 48-72 hours. Applications for adoption can be obtained from a Texas CARES volunteer or found on our website: http://www.texascares.org/adopt Adoption fees may be tax deductible donations.

More about this rescue

Texas CARES is a non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization. Our all-volunteer group provides shelter and veterinary care for homeless and unwanted cats and kittens in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth and surrounding areas.

Our cats and kittens are rescued from local "kill" shelters and desperate public situations. All are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted.

Texas CARES was established in 1992 and is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. All of Texas CARES' funding comes from donations and fundraising events.

*To recruit volunteers and acquire support
*To save more lives
