My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Jason… but my friends call me Baby J. And honestly, once you see my fluffy face, you’ll understand why. I came to the shelter because my owner became ill and could no longer care for me. She loved me very much, so now I’m looking for a new home where I can bring that same love (and fluff) to someone else’s life. I’m a friendly guy who enjoys spending time with my people. Sometimes I’ll hop up into your lap for a cuddle, and other times I prefer to lounge nearby like the fluffy little king I am. I do enjoy pets—when I’m in the mood—and I’ll happily soak them up. I don’t mind being picked up either, but if I’ve decided cuddle time is over, I’ll simply hop out of your arms and be on my way. A gentleman needs his independence, after all. Playtime is also important to me! My absolute favourite toy is the laser pointer, and I’ll chase that little red dot like it’s the most important mission in the world. I previously lived in a quiet home with a senior woman and another cat, without any problems. We all got along peacefully. Dogs, however, are a bit scary to me, so I’d really prefer a dog-free home. I’ve never lived with children, so a calm, quieter household without very rambunctious kids would help me feel most comfortable. More than anything, I love a peaceful place where I can relax, play a little, enjoy affection on my terms, and show off just how fluffy and adorable I am. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion with a soft coat and an even softer heart, I might just be your guy.
